Yay! We're back!
This week, Shelton suggests that there MIGHT be some US workshops in the near future!
Woohoo! Stay tuned for more on that.
Shelton is attending both Canon and Nikon release parties this week. More info next week on what the new goodies are.
Carl sent us this wedding shot which he captured with his Nikon D300.

Bob Fischer sent us a couple of potential entries for a portrait competition.

Then, Shelton takes his "Find the light and put 'em in it" mantra, and turn it upside down.
Now, it's "MAKE the light and put 'em in it!"</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>This week, our last podcast for about 7 weeks!
Shelton is off this week to take a photo tour to Kangaroo Island (for those wanting to see what Kangaroo Island looks like, Shelton recommends the movie, "December Boys" with Daniel Radcliffe),
Bruce is freelancing at a radio station in Sydney for the next 3 weeks, and will then be heading off to the US for the following 3 weeks,
we received some 'green screen' photos from Mark Haffner at ENVPIX Photography (see below). This is a topic we may cover in more detail upon our return.
Bruce is now on facebook,
Also, the final episode in our "wedding series"... shooting the wedding reception.
Shelton is going to supply some silhouette shots of the bridal waltz, but we're still waiting for those. Check back soon.

A couple of listener e-mails from Carlos Rivera, who was keen to hear Shelton's approach to wedding photography.
Good news Carlos!
This week sees the beginning of what will be a series of podcasts devoted to planning the shooting of a wedding.
Shelton mentions a few Aussie wedding photographers:
At least one of them, you should already be familiar with...
Shelton Muller
Jerry Ghionis
Yervant Zanzanian
Markus Bell
Martin Shembray
and although Shelton didn't mention him, I'll add my "cousin-in-law" (is that the correct designation for someone who marries your cousin?), Jurgen Lunnsmann
Plus you can check out the Australian Institute of Professional Photography website.</itunes:summary>

Hi all,
Sorry, no new content this week.
There’s a myriad of reasons which I won’t bore you with, but I can say this…. Shutters Inc will be back next weekend, as will Sine Language. Building The Pod is currently looking at about a 50% probability. Cross your fingers, all you BTP listeners.
Cheers,

Just a little “heads up” to let you know that over the next few days, you may some some strange rendering of the pages on audio2u.com.
Then again, you may not either!
But if you do, it’s all ok. Phil and I are just tweaking some things in the background. Don’t stress.

This week, Shelton discusses his latest trip to Rockhampton to teach real estate salespeople how to more effectively shoot their properties,
more on off-camera flash,
and the John Bertrand shoot (pic 1, pic 2).

Bruce is planning on using My Reflections to print his photobook of his recent U.S. trip.

This week, we heard from John Bell who has put together a very informative video on how to prepare for an aerial photography expedition.
Even if you don't plan on doing an aerial shoot, this is well worth watching. Thanks John.
And of course, there's the landscape competition.
Shelton came up with a corker of a prize!

A Cokin "Landscape filter pack" comprising:

Grey grad soft
Grey grad hard
Blue yellow polarizer
Standard polarizer

Nice!

And the winner?
Mr Tom Nevesley, come on down!

There were also some honourable mentions (in no particular order):

Congratualtions Tom!
And thanks one and all for your submissions.

Merry Christmas one and all.
We'll be back mid-January.
Take care.
Cheers,
Bruce.</itunes:summary>

Approximately 6 hours of CPU time (Intel Core2 Duo with 2GB RAM), 24 x 10MB RAW files, 27 layers at 16 bit…. phew!
And the result?
A 360 degree panorama of Seattle from the Space Needle (taken the day before Thanksgiving).
Enjoy.

Shelton got a last minute call to go to Rockhampton to conduct another photography seminar thingy, which means that we weren’t able to record episode 100 this week.
All things being equal, we will get to record it this Thursday and post it next weekend.
Call it an early Christmas present!
